Stacy Holland, former CEO at 36-bed East Texas Medical Center in Clarksville, will be the new CEO and administrator at Lakeside Hospital at Bastrop, an $11 million, 28,500-square-foot acute-care hospital at State Highway 71 and State Highway 95. Ascension Group Architects LLP of Arlington designed the hospital and is overseeing construction.

The Dallas Morning News - April 15, 2006 Mesquite is getting its third general hospital. Rockwall Hospitals Inc. of Richardson outlined plans this week for a 60-bed acute-care hospital it will build and operate with a group of physician investors.
Mark Kennedy, president and chief executive of the privately held company, said he expects to begin construction on the $54 million hospital in early 2007 and open it in mid-2008.
Texas Regional Medical Center will have 60 private patient rooms, six operating rooms, eight labor-and-delivery suites, an emergency department and a diagnostic imaging center.
Ascension Group Architects of Arlington is designing the project.
